It's June, which means it's time to slap a rainbow frame on my Facebook profile pic, buy a cute new shirt, and get ready to hit the streets in honor of LA's LGBTQ Pride celebrations! If I were a real boss, I would throw a bunch of copies of Blackwelder in a backpack and take them to the festival to hand out. But, since I'm still working up the nerve to be the kind of self-promoter I need to be, I probably won't do that.
Introversion aside, I'm definitely looking forward to Pride though. When things in the world get a little... murky, it's nice to remind ourselves that we also have reason to celebrate. So flags up, and have a fantastic Pride Month!
